An automatic transfer switch monitors the mains electricity supply and, when paired with compatible generator controls, can initiate generator starting and transfer the supply during a power cut. When mains power returns, the ATS transfers the supply back. Compatibility matters: check the generator model, single-phase or three-phase configuration, current rating and control interface before choosing an ATS kit.

Our 100A Compact Automatic Transfer Switch Kit supports selected single-phase Hyundai standby generators, including the DHY6000SE and DHY8000SELR. Generator accessories are not universally interchangeable, and an ATS does not guarantee uninterrupted electricity during changeover. Connection to a property's electrical installation must be assessed and completed by a qualified electrician using suitable equipment.
