Description
The Hyundai DHY12500SE is a 230V standby diesel generator aimed at larger property and small business loads that require a properly installed alternative supply. Its stated maximum output is 10kW (12.5kVA); a separate continuous watt rating is not clearly established in the supplied brief.
The twin-cylinder air-cooled engine uses electric key starting, with a 60-litre fuel tank stated to run for up to 18 hours at quarter load. A silenced enclosure, AVR regulation and control-panel information for volts, frequency and running hours are documented.
The unit includes 230V 32A and 63A connections and is compatible with two-wire starting and optional ATS equipment. An ATS is not included, and connection to a property requires correctly designed transfer protection. Operate outdoors away from doors, windows and ventilation openings. Never backfeed a building; connection to premises needs a qualified electrician and suitable changeover equipment.
The DHY12500SE supports two-wire remote starting from a compatible hybrid inverter's programmed dry contact. A compatible Solis hybrid model with generator-control support may request starting below a set battery state of charge (SOC) and stopping at its recovery threshold, subject to operating mode and generator readiness. Start/stop control does not transfer the house supply, and a load-transfer ATS is not inherently needed for the signal alone. A qualified electrician must check contact ratings, isolation where necessary, phase, voltage, frequency and inverter input limits, then design AC transfer/isolation and commission the system.
