Trinasolar 470W Vertex S+ Dual Glass N-type iTOPCon Solar Module - Black Frame/White Backsheet is designed for installers who need high power density, long-term reliability and a module that drops into mainstream rooftop designs with minimal fuss. Built on Trina’s Vertex S+ N-type i-TOPCon platform, this solar PV module delivers up to 460 W in the series with module efficiencies up to 23.0%, giving you more power per square metre and helping you unlock higher kWh yields from tight roof spaces.
The dual-glass, N-type i-TOPCon cell design offers excellent energy yield and slow degradation over time. N-type technology limits first-year degradation to around 1%, followed by a maximum 0.4% per year from year 2 to 30, with at least 87.4% of initial power output still guaranteed at year 30.
For installers, that means stronger long-term performance guarantees and a more bankable proposition when you’re designing systems with performance-linked contracts or long O&M commitments.
Mechanically, the Vertex S+ is optimised for rooftop work. At 1762 × 1134 × 30 mm and just 21.0 kg, it’s compact and light enough for a two-person lift on residential and commercial roofs, while still offering a high-output, 144-cell layout.
The dual 1.6 mm heat-strengthened glass construction (front AR-coated) and black anodised aluminium frame give a robust, modern finish that pairs well with premium residential aesthetics and visible commercial façades.
For harsh UK and EU conditions, the module is tested to 5,400 Pa snow load and 4,000 Pa wind load (test loads), supporting secure designs in exposed or high-snow locations.
An IP68-rated junction box, 1500 V DC maximum system voltage and 25 A maximum series fuse rating make it suitable for modern high-voltage string architectures with optimisers or direct string connections to three-phase inverters.
The module is designed for compatibility with existing mainstream inverters, optimisers and mounting systems, giving you flexibility to integrate it into your standard BOM without reworking your preferred kit.
