Overview

The Solis S6 80kW 3-phase hybrid inverter (S6-EH3P80K10-NV-YD-H) is a high-power PV + storage platform for commercial and light-industrial sites, combining solar PV input, high-voltage battery storage, grid connection, and generator integration in one system. Designed for resilience and flexibility, it supports both DC and AC coupling—ideal for retrofits, system expansions, and sites with grid instability.
Built for large PV arrays and complex rooftops
With 10 MPPTs (up to 20 strings), the inverter is well suited to multi-orientation arrays and varied string lengths. It supports up to 1000V DC, a wide MPPT range of 150–950V, and is sized for up to 160kW recommended PV array capacity (up to 2× rated PV input).
High-voltage battery ready, with expansion built in
For storage-led operation, it supports HV Li-ion batteries (300–950V) and provides two independent battery ports to simplify capacity expansion and flexible configurations. Charging/discharging is rated at 100A per port (×2) with CAN / RS485 comms for BMS integration.
Fast backup power and generator compatibility
A dedicated backup output provides <10ms transfer for uninterrupted supply to critical loads. The 80kW model also supports high short-duration overload capability (including up to 1.6× for 10s and 2× for 200ms on the 80–100kW variants), helping with demanding start-up loads. It also offers a three-in-one interface for integrating on-grid PV, wind power, and diesel generators, plus controls aimed at weak-grid and genset-hybrid scenarios.
Monitoring, efficiency and site-ready build
The inverter delivers up to 97.5% max efficiency (EU efficiency 96.9% for the 80kW model), includes anti-reverse flow / demand management functions, and provides dynamic reactive power compensation to help improve site power factor. It’s built for harsh environments with IP66 protection, intelligent redundant fan cooling, and a 7" LCD for local setup. Communications are Wi-Fi + LAN + Bluetooth as standard (4G optional).
