CT Clamp Information

Most CT clamps will be supplied as split core to enable easier fitment, the CT clamps must be rated to the maximum current of the cable they are monitoring, in most cases this will be the rating (A) of the protective device. To ensure the best accuracy CT clamps should be sized as close as possible to the rated supply and fit the cable/bus bar as tightly as possible.
