Description
The LDW180 combines a diesel-powered welding source with generator output for outdoor repair and maintenance work. Its stated 180A welding capability and 6kVA generator class make it different from a general-purpose standby set: users should assess the welding and AC power requirements separately.
The 10hp diesel engine can be started electrically or by pull cord. The listed 4.5kW AC power output is associated with 230V use, and the machine has both a 230V outlet and a 110V outlet. Rubber engine mounts and wheels are provided for site handling.
Welding leads are explicitly not included, so appropriate leads and accessories need to be sourced separately. Check the required welding process and electrical characteristics before use. Operate outdoors away from doors, windows and ventilation openings. Never backfeed a building; connection to premises needs a qualified electrician and suitable changeover equipment.
