JCB IG4200E 4.2kW Petrol Inverter Generator

The JCB IG4200E is a portable inverter petrol generator suited to temporary outdoor use, from small trade jobs to event equipment. It delivers 3,800W continuously and a maximum of 4,200W, giving a clear basis for checking connected running and starting loads.

A 174cc four-stroke engine can be started electrically or by recoil. The generator provides 230V AC power alongside 12V DC and USB outputs, and its 9-litre tank is listed with up to 4.5 hours of operation.

With a net weight of 29.5kg, this model combines relatively compact dimensions with a higher output than smaller leisure sets. Do not exceed the continuous AC rating when using multiple devices. Operate outdoors away from doors, windows and ventilation openings. Never backfeed a building; connection to premises needs a qualified electrician and suitable changeover equipment.
