Description
The Hyundai DHY8000SELR-T is a switchable-voltage diesel generator for workshops and sites with different electrical requirements. It offers 230V single-phase and 400V three-phase operation; check the selected mode and usable output before connecting any machine.
The four-stroke air-cooled 456cc diesel engine is housed in an acoustic enclosure and uses electric key starting. A 30-litre tank is listed with up to 30 hours of runtime, while the stated overall figures are 5.5kW rated and 6kW maximum. These are not per-socket or per-phase allowances.
A 230V 32A socket and a 400V 16A three-phase socket are listed, along with ATS compatibility. The automatic transfer switch is sold separately and must be selected for the installation. Operate outdoors away from doors, windows and ventilation openings. Never backfeed a building; connection to premises needs a qualified electrician and suitable changeover equipment.
The DHY8000SELR-T offers ATS compatibility and selectable single-phase or three-phase output. With a matching ATS module, interface cable and external controller that accepts inverter remote-start requests, a compatible Solis hybrid model with generator-control support may start it at low battery state of charge (SOC) and stop it at recovery, subject to operating mode and generator readiness. Start/stop control does not transfer the house supply. A qualified electrician must verify the selected phase, voltage, frequency and inverter input limits, design AC transfer/isolation and commission the installation. The single-phase ATS kit is unconfirmed.
