Description
The Hyundai DHY6000SE is a compact enclosed diesel generator for outdoor standby and temporary power applications. Its specified 5.2kW maximum output should be distinguished from a continuous rating, which is not separately confirmed in the supplied information.
The D420 four-stroke diesel engine has electric starting, AVR voltage regulation and an automatic low-oil shutdown. A 16-litre fuel tank supports a stated runtime of up to 16 hours at 50% load, with a sound-attenuating canopy to reduce operating noise.
The connection panel includes 115V 16A and 32A sockets and a 230V 32A socket. Optional ATS compatibility is documented, but the transfer switch is not included. It enables automatic mains/generator changeover when correctly integrated with supported generator controls. A qualified electrician must confirm compatibility and carry out the installation.
With the correct ATS standard module fitted inside the generator, the DHY6000SE can receive start/stop requests through a matching external cable and controller. A compatible Solis hybrid model with generator-control support may request starting below a configured battery state of charge (SOC) threshold and stopping at recovery, depending on operating mode and generator readiness. Start/stop control does not transfer the house supply. A qualified electrician must check phase, voltage, frequency and inverter input limits, design separate AC connection and transfer/isolation, and commission the complete installation.
