This device is an energy optimisation platform that controls the SolarEdge CSS-OD battery’s functionality, supporting various use-cases for maximum savings. This onsite hardware integrates the energy system and manages the communication between the site’s energy assets, including energy meters, inverters, EV chargers and building loads.

Description

The SolarEdge ONE controller for C&I monitors the energy storage system in real-time, taking into account user preferences to coordinate the connected devices in order to decide when to charge and discharge the battery, to maintain optimal performance and to reduce energy consumption.
A single SolarEdge ONE controller for C&I is required per site where the CSS-OD is installed. An energy meter must also be installed on site.
