The Solar iBoost plus is a wireless solar photovoltaic (PV) water heater. The Solar iBoost + connects wirelessly and remotely to heats your hot water for free using extra PV-generated energy that you would normally export to the grid. The Solar iBoost plus is simple to install to your existing immersion heater. When used with gas heating, you will typically see a money-back return on the cost of the unit within 3 years, and with oil-fired heating Solar iBoost has a payback of approximately 1 year. The Solar iBoost is a remote switch that uses a wireless connection, meaning there is no additional wiring required.
